A Free Pilot Cohort Experience

What is “We Build Bridges?”

About the Program:

The United States has long been defined by the great diversity of its people. Whether that diversity enriches or divides the nation, however, is not a given. Where there is deep difference, there is a need for bridgebuilders: citizens with the mindset and skills to transform diversity into pluralism. Join fellow community members for engaging conversations about opportunities for bridgebuilding and what inspires us to build bridges.

Why Take Part:

  • You will gain valuable skills to help you build relationships across differences.

  • You will talk about some of the core issues dividing people from the space of problem-solving with other bridge builders.

  • You will gain an understanding of what types of steps you can take to connect people in the midst of chaos.

  • You will gain recognition for completing an Interfaith-sponsored program and can use this on your resume when looking to showcase your skills.

How it works?

The experience is cohort style, with only 10 attendees completing it alongside you.

The program includes a few components in order for you to complete it and receive credit:

  1. Complete the free 45-minute virtual “We Build Bridges” self-paced virtual course hosted at ReligionAndPublicLife.org no later than May 10, 2024.

  2. Attend a 2-hour live, virtual interactive session with fellow cohort members to discuss the obstacles and goals in building bridges (highly encouraged if you can make it!)

  3. Receive your virtual kit in the mail to accompany your live session virtual experience.

  4. Share a written and video message on your commitment to work to be a builder of connections across people.

  5. Complete a feedback survey on your experience and learnings.

Congrats to the 2024 cohort!
